Refund policy
Effective from 2 September 2026 — last updated: 8 September 2026
This page describes how the right of withdrawal and refunds work for Mailamber'sPlus and Premium subscriptions. The principle is simple: if Mailamber is not for you, we do not want to keep your money. This policy forms an integral part of the Terms of service.
1. The 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within14 days of the purchase, without giving any reason and without penalty, under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and, for Italian consumers, Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
- The period runs from the day the subscription contract is concluded.
- To withdraw, an explicit statement of your decision is enough (a plain email is perfectly fine); no particular form is required.
- The refund is in full, made with the same payment method used for the purchase, at no extra cost, within 14 days of your request.
2. How to request a refund
Pick whichever channel you prefer:
- Write to us directly atsupport@mailamber.app from your account's email address, stating that you want to withdraw from the subscription. We take care of the rest.
- Through Paddle: purchases are concluded with Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Paddle's email receipt contains a link to manage the order and request a refund; alternatively you can contact Paddle's buyer support atpaddle.net.
In both cases the refund is executed by Paddle to the original payment method. The actual crediting time depends on your bank's or card's circuit.
3. Effects on monthly and yearly plans
- Monthly plans: withdrawing within 14 days entitles you to a full refund of the month charged.
- Yearly plans: withdrawing within 14 days entitles you to a full refund of the yearly amount charged.
- With the refund, the subscription is closed and the account moves to theFree plan. You lose nothing stored on your PC: your emails, attachments and local archive remain yours and keep working on the Free plan.
4. Automatic renewals and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically, but before every renewal you receive anemail notice with the amount and date of the charge.
- You can cancel at any time, in two clicks, from your account area: cancelling prevents any future charge and the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation is the right way to avoid an unwanted renewal.
- If a renewal has been charged and you believe something went wrong (for instance a renewal you meant to cancel), write to us anyway atsupport@mailamber.app: we review requests with common sense, case by case.
5. Exceptions provided by law
Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code) provides certain exceptions to the right of withdrawal for services fully performed and for digital content supplied with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the withdrawal right.
Mailamber does not rely on these exceptions for subscriptions: immediate access to the paid plans' features does not shorten your 14 days. In any event, all rights that the law grants you on a mandatory basis remain unaffected, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services (Directive (EU) 2019/770), which applies regardless of this policy.
