What are the requirements?#

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, on an x64 (Intel/AMD) or ARM64 processor.
  • About 200 MB of free space, plus space for the mail you download.
  • An internet connection for the first sync; after that, you can read and search offline too.

How do I install Mailamber?#

  1. Open the Download page: the website offers the right version for your PC (x64 or ARM64).
  2. Download the file Mailamber-Setup-<version>-<architecture>.exe.
  3. Open it and follow the setup wizard. Installation is per user: you don’t need administrator rights and you can choose the folder.
  4. When it’s done, open Mailamber, sign in with your Mailamber account and add your mailbox.

How do I check that the installer is genuine?#

Mailamber releases are signed with a code-signing certificate issued by Certum to the publisher Antonio Maraucci. Before installing, right-click the file → Properties → Digital Signatures tab: you should see that name. Download Mailamber only from mailamber.app.

Where can I find previous versions?#

On the Download page, under “All versions”, and in the changelog with what’s new in each release. Usually you don’t need them: Mailamber updates itself.

How do I uninstall Mailamber?#

In Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Mailamber and choose Uninstall. Your mail stays on your provider’s server. If you also want to delete the local copy on your PC, delete the %APPDATA%\@mailamber\desktop folder after uninstalling (details). Remember to free up the device in your account area if you won’t use that PC anymore.
