Can’t sign in to your Mailamber account? Here’s what to do
In short
Check the message you see. “Incorrect email or password” is fixed with Forgot password; “not verified yet” with the verification link; “device limit” by freeing up a slot; “unreachable” by checking your connection. Remember: this is your Mailamber account, not your mailbox password.
This page is about signing in to your Mailamber account (the one on mailamber.app). If the problem is an email mailbox that won’t connect, go to IMAP and SMTP errors.
What do I do if I see “Incorrect email or password”?#
Make sure you’re using the email and password of your Mailamber account, not those of your mailbox. If you don’t remember it, use Forgot password: you’ll get a link to choose a new one. On the phone, the Forgot your password? link opens the same page.
What do I do if my address is “not verified yet”?#
After you signed up, we sent you a confirmation link. Look for the email (in spam too) and open it; if you can’t find it, use Resend verification email in the app or the button in the account area. The verification link expires after a while: if it has, ask for a new one.
What do I do if I see “Plan device limit reached”?#
All the slots on your plan are already in use. Remove a device you no longer use from the account area, Devices tab, or switch to a plan with more devices. On Android, from the No free device slot screen, open Manage devices and then Try again. All the details are in Devices.
What do I do if the service is “unreachable”?#
The message “Mailamber service unreachable. Check your connection.” means the app can’t contact Mailamber’s servers: check your connection, VPN or corporate firewall (it must be able to reach api.mailamber.app). Mail you’ve already downloaded stays available; on Android the app keeps working offline for a few days with the data from your last sign-in.
Why do I have to sign in every time I start my PC?#
Because you didn’t tick “Stay signed in on this PC (otherwise you'll sign in at every launch)” when signing in. Sign out and sign in again with the option turned on.
What do I do if I’m asked for a 6-digit code or told to update the app?#
Your account has two-step verification turned on: after your password, type the code from your authenticator app or one of your recovery codes. If the app says you need to update Mailamber to sign in, install the latest version: older ones can’t ask for the code. Code rejected, attempts blocked or phone lost? You’ll find the fixes in the two-step verification guide.
What does “Account suspended” mean?#
Your account has been suspended by Mailamber’s administration. To find out why and resolve it, write to support@mailamber.app from your account’s email address.
