How do I see the shortcuts in the app?#
Press ? at any time: the Shortcuts sheet opens. Press Esc to close it.
What is the command palette?#
Ctrl+K opens a box where you type a command: “New message”, “Go to: Unread”, “Settings”, “Cycle theme”, “Switch language” and many more. It’s the fastest way to get anywhere without a mouse.
When don’t single-key shortcuts work?#
Single keys (C, E, U, S, R…) are ignored while you’re typing in a text field, while the composer is open, or while a dialog is in front, so you don’t trigger actions by mistake. After Archive or Delete, Mailamber moves to the next message by itself.
Which shortcuts does the message bar use?#
The same as the list: in the message action bar each button’s tooltip shows its key (R, A, F, E, S, U, Del). With focus on the bar, the arrows and Home/End move between buttons, and Esc closes the … menu. The bar is available from Windows 1.14.0.
Which shortcuts are there while you write?#
Besides Ctrl+Enter to send, from Windows 1.14.0 the composer has:
- Ctrl+J: AI assistant in the message, the sidebar with the AI features.
- Ctrl+Space: AI suggestion in the text (Tab to accept). Tab accepts it, Esc dismisses it.
- Ctrl+Shift+T: Templates in the message (templates).
Are there shortcuts on Android?#
No: on the phone you use the app’s gestures and buttons.
