Signatures and templates on PC and Android
In short
On the PC, create signatures in Settings → Mail → Signatures and pick the default one for each mailbox: Mailamber adds it automatically to new messages, on your phone too. Templates, with variables and HTML emails, have their own guide; on Android you use them with “Templates” in the composer.
How do I create a signature?#
- On the PC, open Settings → Mail → Signatures and press New signature.
- Give the signature a name and write the text.
- In Mailbox, choose a specific mailbox or All mailboxes.
- With Make default, decide which signature Mailamber adds automatically at the end of new messages.
Is the signature on my phone too?#
Yes. Signatures are part of the shared settings: on the phone, the mailbox’s default signature is added automatically to new messages. To create or edit them, use the Windows app.
Is the signature part of templates?#
No: when you insert a template, the message keeps the signature of the mailbox you’re writing from, even if the template is an HTML layout. That way you can use the same template from different mailboxes.
Where do I find templates?#
Everything about templates (variables that fill themselves in, visual and HTML editor with preview, gallery of models, the Template button and Ctrl+Shift+T in the message) is in the Templates guide. The Free plan includes 2 templates, Plus and Premium unlimited.
How do I use templates on Android?#
In the composer, tap Templates and pick the template; you manage them under Tools, in Templates. From Android 1.4.0 you’ll find category, tags and favorites there too, along with the model gallery and the same editor as on the PC. For an HTML email, turn on HTML editor and switch between Edit code and Preview. Templates created on the PC reach the phone through shared settings.
Can I generate a template with AI?#
Yes, with Plus and Premium. On the PC, press AI template in the message’s HTML editor, or use AI generation in the template editor; describe the purpose, sections, colors and tone, then save the result. On Android, turn on HTML editor, type the description in the AI assistant box and tap Use in message.
AI creates a complete HTML email that works in email clients (table layout, responsive). For your logo and images it uses placeholders that you replace with your own links; AI doesn’t generate images. Generation uses your plan’s AI limits and can take a couple of minutes.
