Smart spaces: email that organizes itself
In short
Smart spaces are virtual folders that group your mail by type (Finance, Purchases, Travel, Newsletters…). You turn them on with one click, they work on your device and they don’t move any message on the server; if a sender lands in the wrong space, you correct it and Mailamber learns.
Which spaces are there?#
Security, PEC, Finance, Purchases, Travel, Events, Social, Promotions, Newsletters and Other. You’ll find them in the sidebar under Smart spaces.
How do I turn them on?#
On the PC, a card appears in the sidebar the first time: press Enable. Or go to Settings → Smart spaces and turn on Automatic sorting. Mailamber immediately sorts the mail from the last 90 days, then new messages as they arrive.
On Android, the toggle is in Settings → Features → Smart spaces. In both apps it stays off until you turn it on.
Do they move my messages?#
No. Spaces are virtual and local: messages stay in their folders on the server and nothing changes in webmail. You can turn spaces off at any time with no side effects.
How do I fix a message in the wrong space?#
Open the message menu and choose Move to space…. Mailamber remembers your choice for that sender and re-sorts their other messages too. To start over from scratch, use Reset learning in the spaces settings.
What is the AI assist for uncertain senders?#
AI assist for uncertain senders is an optional helper, off by default, for senders the local rules don’t recognize. On the PC it sends the AI only the sender and subject, never the message body; the result is stored, so each sender is assessed at most once. It uses only free AI models and is available on every plan. On the phone it sends the address, name and up to two subjects per sender, only once. Before you turn it on, you need to give your AI consent.
